Valparaiso resident Nicholas Levi Roberts Parry, 20, died Saturday, March 15,
2008, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born July 23, 1987, in Valparaiso, the son of Jeffrey A. and Cheryl R.
(Roberts) Parry, who survive him.
He is also survived by his 10-month-old son, Levi Roberts Parry, and Levi’s
mother, Crystal; his grandparents, Leslie Roberts of Porter, Judi (Chet
Dyniewski) Smith of Valparaiso, and Judy Parry of Franklin, Ind.;
great-grandmothers Joyce Alger of Wheatridge, Colorado, and Dorothy Parry of
Valparaiso; “brothers” Matt, Bubba, Richard, Brandon, Tony, Johnny, and
Shawn; aunts Amy (Michael) Belden of Franklin, and Stacey (Jimmi Graves)
Bauske of Hobart; cousins Taya, Breanna, Michaela, and Samantha; godparents
and great aunt and uncle Janice and Scott Lakey of Aurora, Colorado; two
dogs, Shadow and “Bo”; two cats, Bub and Sneak; and numerous other relatives
and friends.
He was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Billy Roberts and Douglas
Parry; and by two great-grandfathers, William Alger and Kenneth Parry.
Nick enjoyed disc golf, hunting, cars, and doing mechanical work.
Funeral services, Pastor Neil Horner officiating, are scheduled for 11:30
a.m. Thursday at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Road in Valparaiso.
Visitation is scheduled from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. He will be interred at
Graceland Cemetery.
Memorial may be made to the family for a fund to be established for Nick’s
son, Levi.
