Joseph John Carr passed away March 1, 2008 at his residence in Chesterton.

He is survived by his wife and best friend Virginia (Ginny) Carr.

He is also survived by children, Dr. Steven A. (Margaret) Carr, Deborah (Dominick) Adduci and Laura (Robert) Herrod; grandchildren, Dr. Steven J. (Bridget) Carr, Amanda (Jim) Pherson, Rick Carr; Michael (Courtney) Adducci, Tom, John and Dan Adducci; Mary, Joey and Patrick Herrod and great-granddaughter, Lily Grace Carr.

Joe’s compassion for those less fortunate was truly remarkable. His love and kind words will be missed by all who knew him.

Services will be private. Memorials can be made in Joe’s honor and name to the American Lung Association or the American Heart Association.
