Jennie Pearman, of Porter, passed away Monday evening, April 7, 2008 at the Waters of Duneland, Chesterton. She was 79.

She was born Aug. 18, 1929 in Chicago.

She was preceded in death by her husband Paul.

Jennie is survived by her friend and companion, Kenneth Schroeder, of Porter.

Jennie, a homemaker, greatly enjoyed her daily walks in the town of Porter, making many friends as she walked.

Funeral services, Minister Barry Thornton officiating, will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 11 at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S. 2nd St., Chesterton. Interment will follow at Chesterton Cemetery.

Friends will be received Thursday, April 10 from 6-8 p.m. at White-Love Funeral Home.

Memorials may be given to the Salvation Army, or to the American Red Cross.
