Jeannine G. Doré, of Chesterton, passed away Tuesday January 22, 2008 at
Porter Valparaiso Hospital Campus. She was 77.
Jeannine was born on July 17, 1930 in VanKleek Hill, Ontario Canada, the
daughter of Andre and Albertha (Richer) Boyer, both of whom preceded her in
death.
In Toronto, Canada on October 8, 1951 she married Roger Doré Sr., who
preceded her in death on April 8, 2001.
She is survived by sons; Andre L. (Linda) Doré and Michael G. Doré, both of
Valparaiso, Luke G. Doré and Roger J. Doré Jr., both of Chesterton; brothers
Rolland (Paulette) Boyer of Chesterton, Maurice (Adrenne) Boyer, Jean-Paul
(Terese) Boyer, Laurier (Ramone) Boyer, all of Canada; sisters-in-law; Teresa
and Suzanne Boyer of Canada; grandchildren; Michelle Doré, Stephanie (Jason)
Nichols, Taylor Doré, Kevin Doré, Edward Doré and Danielle Doré and two
great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Marie Jeannine Doré and
brothers, Jacques-Bernard Boyer and Guy Boyer.
Jeannine was a homemaker, member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and Women of
the Moose Lodge 1623 former officer. She loved bowling, horseshoes, sewing
(She was a seamstress), and was a good devoted mother and friend to all.
A funeral service, Fr. Lawrence Heeg officiating, will be at 11 a.m.
Saturday, Jan. 26 at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday Jan. 25, with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m.
at the funeral home.
