Dale A. Johnson dies at 51

Dale A. Johnson, of Chesterton, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at Porter Valparaiso Hospital Campus, Valparaiso. He was 51.

He was born June 6, 1956 in Valparaiso, the son of Robert C. and Janet R. Johnson, both of whom survive.

He is also survived by his wife, Angela M. Paige Johnson.

Also surviving are a daughter, Taylor Johnson and a son, Isaiah Johnson, both at home; two brothers, Robert Jr. (Karen) Johnson, of Portage and Scott Johnson; two sisters, Karen (John) Taubert of Chesterton and Sandra Boss of Chesterton; many nieces and nephews and Dale’s canine buddies, Bandit and Cooper.

Dale was owner of Johnson Automotive Service in Chesterton and a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Chesterton.

Funeral services, Pastor Jane Aicher officiating, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 29 at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S. 2nd St., Chesterton. Interment will be in Chesterton Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Friday at White Love Funeral Home.

Memorials may be given to an educational fund being set up for his children.
