Charlene Carr, Age 55, of Porter, passed away on Jan. 29 2008.

Charlene was born in Cleveland, Ohio on April 23, 1952 to the late Louis Henry and Lucille (Bahanon) Brassow, both of whom preceded her in death.

On Nov. 3, 1986 in East Lake, Ohio, she married Jeffery Carr, who survives in Porter,

She is also survived by a son, Michael (Rena) Martin of Mentor on The Lake, Ohio; sisters, Darlene (Tom) Speakman of Willowick, Ohio, Jane Louise (Herb) Beutter of Pierpont, Ohio, Joy Boyer of Willoughby, Ohio and Charlene; father-in-law, Joseph Carr of East Lake, Ohio; sisters-in-law Coletta Riggio of Austin, Texas and Kay Brassow; brothers-in-law, Michael (Chris) Carr of Hudson, N.Y., Daniel (Sue) Carr of Willoughby, Ohio, David (Michelle) Carr of Euclid, Ohio; grandchildren, Raven, Devin and Reana Martin; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was also receded in death by a brother Louis Brassow.

Charlene was a homemaker. She was a member of the V.F.W. Women’s Auxiliary Post 1500 in Willoughby, Ohio.

Heritage Crematory is in charge of cremation. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Willoughby, Ohio. Arrangements handled by Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton.
