William Breier dies at 70

William (Bill) Alexander Breier, 70, of West Mifflin, Pa., formerly of Dravosburg, died March 25, 2007 at Riverside Nursing Home, McKeesport, Pa.

He was born July 10, 1936, the son of William C and Mary (Tatar) Breier, both of whom preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Garnett M. (McCready) Breier of West Mifflin.

He is also survived by a daughter, Suzanne L. Breier of Wilson; two grandchildren, Nicole Breier and Robert Jenkins; James (Dawn) Breier of Chesterton; two grandchildren, Nicole Breier and Robert Jenkins and two great-grandchildren, Kayla Daerr and Ethan Redmond.

William, a 50 year resident of West Mifflin, was a retired laborer for U.S. Steel National Tube Works in McKeesport after 36 years of service. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in Fort Devens, Mass. He was a member of Wilson Athletic Club and VFW Post 0803 in Wilson. He also was a member of the Anderson Softball Team of Franks Bar, West Mifflin.

Services are private.

Arrangements were made by S.M. Finney Funeral Home of Clairton, Pa.
