Thomas N. Page dies at 80

Thomas N. Page, of Chesterton, passed away May 8, 2007 at Porter Valparaiso Hospital Campus, Valparaiso. He was 80.

He was born April 18, 1927 in Waynesboro, Va., the son of Lester and Elfrieda (Sonnenberg) Page.

On Sept. 10, 1968 in Chicago, he married Bertha Hills, who survives in Chesterton.

He is also survived by two sons, William (Patricia) Page of Ill. and Tommy Morris of Ill.; five daughters, Cary (Robert) Davidson of Milwaukee, Wis., Rachael (Craig) Jones of Chesterton, Hettie Page of Milwaukee, Wis., Sharon (John) Shubatt of Valparaiso and Mary Jo Page of Ind., 20 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father Lester Page, mother Elfrieda Norberg and stepfather Butch Norberg and son Nathan Page.

Thomas was a Master Mason, a member of the Knights Templer and The York Right.

A funeral service, Pastor Larry Starett officiating, will be at 1 p.m. Friday, May 11 at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton. Interment will be at Chesterton Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Friday at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church AWANA’S.
