Stephen Pierce Piornack 'Steve' dies at 37

Stephen Pierce Piornack “Steve” of Porter, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 11, 2007 surrounded by his loving family. He was 37.

Steve was born in Valparaiso, on November 3, 1970 to Steve and Rebecca Piornack, both of whom survive.

He is also survived by his devoted wife Kim, his cherished sons, Jacob and Jarett, his mother-in-laws Debra Lyle and Kathy Mario, his father-in-law Charles Clark and his brothers Jayson and Brian Piornack. Steve had a large extended family of grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and special friends. He will be greatly missed by all of the lives he has touched.

He was a member of Scout Pack 926 in Jackson Township and he was active in A.Y.S.O. soccer both as a boy and later as a coach. He attended Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach, Calif.

Steve had a passion for music and many outdoor activities including snowboarding, skateboarding, fishing, hiking in the dunes and gardening. His love of life was infectious to everyone he came in contact with. He was a good man.

A Memorial Service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday Nov.15 at the White-Love Funeral Home, 525 South Second St. in Chesterton.

The family will receive friends and visitors beginning at 10:30 a.m., prior to the service on Thursday. A graveside service will follow immediately at the Chesterton Cemetery on Porter Ave..

Memorials to benefit his wife and children can be made to Fifth Third Bank, 302 Broadway, Chesterton Indiana 46304 in care of Kim Piornack.
