Sharon L. (Cincoski) Wood, of Bone Gap, Ill., passed away Thursday, Oct. 11, 2007 at her residence. She was 67.

She was born May 25, 1940, in Valparaiso, the daughter of Milford and Beatrice (Gordon) Cincoski, both of whom preceded her in death.

She married Edward Wood, who also preceded her in death.

She is survived by two sons and a daughter, Ed (Lisa) Wood, of Marion, Ind., Shiela Shields, and Steven (Val) Wood, both of Bone Gap, Ill.; eight grandchildren; Joe Wood of Marion, Scott, Aaron, Marcus, Christopher Wood, Angel, Candice, Dorrine Shields, all of Bone Gap.

Sharon is also survived by six brothers; Danny Cincoski, Larry (Jean) Cincoski, both of Kouts, Ind., Darrell (JoAnn) Cincoski of Burns Harbor, Ind., Mark (BethAnn) Cincoski, of Bethalto, Ill., John Cincoski of Kankakee, Ill., and Paul Cincoski of Hephzibah, Georgia and five sisters; Shelley (Jim) Young of Mt Vernon Ill., Sande (Jim) Nielson of Valparaiso, Debbie (Tom) Kemp, Julie (Bob) Ashton, and Vicki (Tom) Olson, all of Chesterton, and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Roberta and a grandchild, James Sheilds.

Sharon graduated from Chesterton High School in 1959, and enjoyed attending her class reunions. She was a homemaker, who enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and attending family reunions.

Cremation arrangements were made. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 27, at 1 p.m. at Free Methodist Church in Albion, Ill., with no visitation scheduled.
