Mary Margaret Hrin, of Chesterton, formerly of Boston, Pa., passed away
Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2006 at her home. She was 92.
She was born May 4, 1914 in Versailles, Pa., the daughter of Thomas and Mary
(Kostelac) Puskar, both of whom preceded her in death.
On Jan. 23, 1936 in McKeesport, Pa., she married William Hrin, who preceded
her in death.
She is survived by a daughter, Joanne (Ron) Boyer, of Chesterton; three
grandchildren, Linda (Tim) Walsh, of Chesterton, Harry Hickle, of Mass. and
Mike (Vicki) Hickle, of Chesterton; nine great-grandchildren, Steven and Tim
Walsh, of Chesterton, Jasmine, Harry and Max Hickle, of Chesterton,
Samantha, Jessica and Lea Hickle, of Chesterton and Heidi and Hanna Hickle
of Ma.
She is also survived by a brother, William Puskar and three sisters, Anne
Lewandoski, Katherine Marnell and Mildred Drutarosky.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Walter, John, Mike and Tom
Puskar and a sister, Daisy Blaha.
Mary recently moved to Chesterton to be near her family. She was a home
maker and a member of Holy Trinity Church, McKeesport, Pa.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007 at Gilbert Funeral Home,
Boston, Pa. Interment followed at St. Martin de Porres Cemetery, McKeesport,
Pa.
Memorials may be given to First United Methodist Church of Chesterton or to
VNA Home Hospice program.
Arrangements were under the direction of White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S. 2nd
St., Chesterton.
