Marguerite Beck, of Chesterton, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2007 at The Waters of Duneland Health Care Center, Chesterton. She was 100.

She was born September 29, 1906 in Valparaiso, the daughter of Andrew Beyer and Emma Schumacher, both of whom preceded her in death.

She married Elmer E. Beck, who preceded her in death on Oct. 7. 1969.

She is survived by three sons, John (Joan) Beck of Melbourne, Fla., Thomas (Joyce) Beck of Chesterton and William (Karen) Beck of Chesterton; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert.

Marguerite was a former member of Paws & Taws Square Dance Group and a member of Banta Senior Center, Valparaiso.

A memorial service, Rev.. Terry Rhine officiating, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, April 27 at Chesterton First United Methodist Church, 434 S. 2nd St., Chesterton.
