Lynette Cecelia Villars, of Valparaiso, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2007
at her home. She was 62.
She was born May 8, 1944 in Ventura, Calif. the daughter of William C.
Miller and Anna L. (Ingram) Miller, both of whom preceded her in death.
On July 13, 1991 in Chesterton, she married Richard A. Villars, who survives
in Valparaiso.
She is also survived by three daughters, Anita Edwards of Portland, Ore.,
Deanna Crabtree of Orlando, Fla. and Julie Abatie of Valparaiso; five
grandchildren, Trisha Abatie, Jessica Edwards, Donald Edwards, Kevin Edwards
and Kelly McGraw; four great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, father
and mother-in-law, Albert and Margaret Villars of Chesterton, life-long
friends Larry and Jean Rogers of Valparaiso and faithful companion, Buffer.
She was also preceded in death by a sister Carla Miller.
Lynette worked for many years at Northside Laundromat and enjoyed fishing
and bowling.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, March 19 from the White-Love
Funeral Home, 525 S. 2nd St. Chesterton. Cremation will follow at Calvary
Crematory, Portage.
The family will receive friends Monday from 11 a.m. until time of service at
2 p.m.
Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial fund yet to be
determined.
