Lucille M. Hunt dies at 91

Lucille M. Hunt, of Chesterton, formerly of Gary/Portage, passed away Monday, April 9, 2007 at The Waters of Duneland Health Care Center, Chesterton. She was 91.

She was born May 2, 1915 in Kewanna, Ind., the daughter of William and Grace McLouchlin, both of whom preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by husbands William Floyd, Jack Frye and George Hunt.

She is survived by a son Edward (Judith) Floyd of Chesterton; a brother, Charles McLouchlin of Nobelsville; seven grandchildren, Mark, Kevin, Janice, Lynne, Jimmy, Shannon and Shawn and eight great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two sons, Donald and Phillip Floyd; a daughter, Wilma Onefrey and five sisters, Loretta, Pauline, Betty, Anabelle and Jane.

Lucille was a member of the War Mothers and The Women of the Moose Portage Chapter. She also volunteered at R.S.V.P. and was formerly active in the Bonner Senior Center.

Funeral services, Fr. Roger Bell, officiating will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 12 at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home. Interment will be private.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home.
