Linda L. Young, of Valparaiso, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2007. She was 64. She was born August 17, 1943 in Gary, the daughter of Paul and Marge (Bolin) Truth, both of whom preceded her in death. In 1989 she married Vernon J. Young, who survives. She is also survived by a sister, Diane (Andrew) Royko of Chesterton; a brother, Paul Truth of Westville; nine stepchildren; several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Carol Ward and her first husband William Eaton. Linda was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Funeral services, Rev. Brenda Ludwig officiating, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7 at Bartholomew Funeral Home in Valparaiso. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
