Lillian “Sue” Vitoux, of Chesterton, passed away Sunday, Jan. 28, 2007 at
VNA Horton Hospice Center, Valparaiso. She was 64.
She was born Nov. 19, 1942 in Valparaiso, the daughter of Amos and Isabelle
(Pomeroy) Collins, both of whom preceded her in death.
On Nov. 19, 1960, she married Raymond A. Vitoux, who preceded her in death,
Jan. 14, 2002.
She is survived by two sons, Danny (Kris) Vitoux of Porter and John Vitoux
of Chesterton; three brothers, Richard (Fran) Collins of Chesterton, Leroy (Evanna)
Collins of Porter and Rodney Collins of LaPorte; many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Vitoux and two
brothers, Eugene and Robert Collins.
“Sue” was a home maker and former member of Chesterton Moose Lodge.
Funeral services, Rev. Terry Rhine officiating, will be at 7 p.m.,
Wednesday, Jan. 31 at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway,
Chesterton. Cremation will follow services at Heritage Crematory, Portage.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m. Wednesday at
the funeral home.
