Kristine E. Politano, of Jackson Twp., passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2007,
at Porter Valparaiso Hospital Campus, Valparaiso. She was 44.
She was born Sept. 19, 1962 in Michigan City, the daughter of Robert and
Doris (Washluske) Talbutt, both of whom preceded her in death.
On June 10, 1989 at St. John’s United Church of Christ, Michigan City, she
married William F. Politano, who survives in Jackson Twp.
She is also survived by two brothers, Russ (Mary) Talbutt of Michigan City
and Mark Talbutt of Michigan City; parents-in-law, Robert and Joan Politano
of Chesterton; numerous nieces and nephews; brothers-and-sisters-in-law, Mary
(Bill) Branham of Liberty Twp., Joe Politano of Chesterton, Barbara (fiancee
Bill Poparad) Eppolito of Chesterton, Bob Politano of Chesterton, Kathleen
(Mark) Jennings of Springfield, Va. and Patti (Brad) Decker of Porter.
She was also preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Dora Politano.
Kristine was a sales associate with Sears in Michigan City for 21 years, had
worked with Lee’s Hallmark, Chesterton, Four Seasons Landscaping, Yankee
Candle and was a licensed beautician. She attended Ivy Tech for computer
technology for three years. Kristine was currently employed as a fuel
technician with Paulson Oil Co., Chesterton. Her hobbies included ceramics,
gardening and arts and crafts.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 14 at White-Love
Funeral Home, 525 S. 2nd St., Chesterton. Interment will be at Chesterton
Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 3-8 p.m. Friday at White-Love Funeral
Home.
Memorials may be given to a memorial fund in Kristine’s memory for a purpose
yet to be determined.
