Joy D. Jensen service set

Former Chesterton resident Joy D. Jensen (nee Michaels) of Medina, Ohio died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007 at Medina General Hospital in Ohio. She was 71.

She is survived by her loving family and children Robert Jensen (wife Amy), Ann J. Zevallos (husband Ulises) and Patricia Lynn Jensen; and special grandchildren Andrew, Amanda, Anna, Daniel, Aaron and Mateo. She is preceded in death by parents Raymond and Martha (nee Bishop) Michaels and her husband, William H. Jensen.

Born on July 25, 1936 in Michigan City, she was an ambassador at Cleveland Hopkins Airport and a field representative for AFS. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed dancing and attending her high school class reunions to visit with friends. She will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be Friday, Dec. 28, 2007 at 9 a.m. at the Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton. Burial will be at Chesterton Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday, Dec. 27, from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
