Harry T. Harding, Jr. (Tom), formerly of Chesterton, passed away Sept. 10, 2007 in Bokeelia, Fla. He was 59.

He was born April 23, 1948 in Malden, Mass., the son of Harry and Mildren (Basler) Harding. He was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his mother, Mildred, of Lafayette, Ind.; brothers, Richard (Bev) of Wheatfield, Patrick (Ann) of West Lafayette; daughter, Janice (Edgar) Rodriguez of Westville; son, Michael of Chesterton and many other relatives and friends.

He was a former member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Beverly Shores. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion and Knights of Columbus. He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam and again in Germany.

A gravesite ceremony will be at 3 p.m. Oct. 20 at Furnessville Cemetery. Cremation arrangements were made by Metz Chapel and Crematory, Cape Coral, Fla.
