Eleanor L. Lunetta, of Chesterton, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2007 at The Waters of Duneland, Chesterton. She was 81.

She was born Jan. 25, 1926 in Chicago, the daughter of Peter and Mary (Stopa) Garstka, both of whom preceded her in death.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Lunetta in 1991.

She is survived by a daughter, Donna (Luis) Moreno of Chesterton; two grandchildren, Monique Perez of Chicago and Nicholas Moreno of Chesterton; two great-grandchildren, Joseph and Connor.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Jean Garstka.

Eleanor was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Chesterton. She was an avid reader and enjoyed sewing.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 26 at Resurrection Cemetery Chapel, 7201 S. Archer, Justice, Ill.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 25 at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S. 2nd St., Chesterton.
