Dorothy Majeski, of Chesterton, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2007 at Valparaiso Care and Rehabilitation Center, Valparaiso. She was 84.

She was born Feb. 9, 1923 the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth (Maday) Majeski, both of whom preceded her in death.

She is survived by a sister, Grace Majeski of Chesterton.

She is also preceded by a sister, Betty Majeski and two brothers, Robert and Joseph Majeski.

Dorothy was a clerk for U.S. Steel. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. She was a member of St. Patrick Willing Workers and St. Patrick Women’s Club.

A Mass of Christian Burial, Fr. James Meade and Fr. Terry Bennis officiating, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 17 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 638 N. Calumet Rd., Chesterton.

There will be no visitation.

Memorials may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church Building Fund.
