Dorothy Irene Ream, age 96, of Westville, formerly of Johnstown, Pa., passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at the VNA Horton Hospice Center in Valparaiso,

Dorothy was born on June 16, 1911 in Johnstown, Pa., the daughter of Andrew and Elizabeth (Blough) Alwine, both of whom preceded her in death.

She married Richard H. Ream on August 16, 1936, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by daughters; Susan (Tom) Rowe of Woodstock, Ga. and Linda (Richard) Slatcoff of Westville: sons; Richard (Sandy) Ream of Nancy, Ky. and Larry (Juanita) Ream of Pa.: 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by eight siblings and one grandchild.

Dorothy was a homemaker; she loved gardening and was an avid bowler

There will be no services, cremation will take place at Heritage Crematory in Portage. Interment will be at a future date in Johnstown, Pa..
