Doris Bradney Claussen, of Valparaiso, passed away Friday, July 13, 2007,
passed away at her home. She was 91.
She was born Nov. 27, 195 in Kouts, the daughter of Carl E. and Margaret
(Lane) Bradney, both of whom preceded her in death.
On Feb. 9, 1931, she married Herbert H. Claussen, who preceded her in death
Nov. 29, 1993.
She is survived by two daughters, Dixie (Art) Johnson of Westville and Linda
(Steve) Kutka of Fla.; a daughter-in-law, Loretta Claussen of Ariz.; a
son-in-law, Albert Gerber of Jackson Twp. and 15 grandchildren, 32
great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a son, William Claussen, two daughters,
Sandra Gerber and Janet Meyers; three sisters, Helen Tresmer, Rosemary
Cochran and Betty Rutledge and two brothers, Donald Bradney and Dick Bradney.
Doris was a homemaker.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. at Bartholomew Funeral Home, 102 Monroe
St., Valparaiso. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso.
Visitation will be from 12-2:30 p.m. at Bartholomew Funeral Home.
