Denato Migliorini dies at 93

Denato Migliorini, of Chesterton, formerly of Griffith, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2007. He was 93.

He was preceded in death by his wife Isabel.

He is survived by two sons, Dan (Marti) Migliorini of Michigan City and Bob (Gail) Migliorini of Chesterton; four grandchildren, Anthony Michael (Tiffany) Migliorini, Amy Elizabeth Migliorini, Alisa Marie (Ken) Hecimovich, Allen Denato Migliorini and three great-grandchildren, Matthew Robert Migliorini, Cole Denato Migliorini and Max Allen Thompson.

Denato was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Griffith. He was retired from the Sheet Metal Workers Local 20 with 68 years of service, was a former Scout Master of Troop 531; recipient of the Silver Beaver Award and served with the C.C.C. Civilian Conservation Corps.

Funeral services, Rev. Jim Armstrong officiating, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 30 at First United Methodist Church of Griffith. Interment will be at Chapel Lawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Rd. (two blocks south of Ridge Rd.) Highland.

Memorials may be given to the church or Alzheimer’s services of Indiana.
