David S. Lundstrom, of Valparaiso, passed away Jan. 22, 2007. He was 53.
He was born Dec. 27, 1953 in Gary, the son of the late Frank A. and
Jeannette E. (Carpenter) Lundstrom.
On Aug. 25, 1979 in Baltimore, Md., he married Kathy E. Yost, who survives
in Valparaiso.
He is also survived by two daughters Emily Lundstom and Rachel Lundstrom,
both of Valparaiso; a brother, Richard (Joy) Lundstrom of Valparaiso; uncle,
Harold and aunt, Millie Lundstrom of Valparaiso; aunt, Gertrude Parker and
several cousins.
Mr. Lundstrom was a life-long area resident and a member of the Christ
Lutheran Church in Valparaiso. He was owner of Anderson’s Orchards, past
president of the Indiana Wine and Grape Council and an award winning wine
maker. He was a former Paramedic and Emergency Medical Services Instructor
and a Senior DeMolay.
A Celebration of Life service, Rev. Jerry Castleman officiating, will be at
10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, at Christ Lutheran Church in Valparaiso.
Cremation will precede services at Heritage Crematory, Portage.
A Time of Remembrance will be from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27 with friends,
family and coworkers at Anderson’s Orchards, 430 E. U.S. Hwy 6, Valparaiso.
Memorials may be made to either Christ Lutheran Church or the charity of the
donor’s choice.
