David Richard Madison, 17, of Sunman, Ind., died March 31, 2007 at Riley Hospital, Indianapolis.

He was born Oct. 29, 1989 in Merrillville, the son of Richard David Madison and April Hazzard Madison Borders.

He is survived by mother and step-father, April Ann and Duane Borders of Sunman and father and step-mother, Richard David and Rhonda Doneen Madison of Terre Haute.

Also surviving are brothers, Jonathan and Nathan Madison of Terre Haute; a step-sister, Tiffany Miller of Portage; step-brothers, Duane and Christian Borders of Terre Haute, Joshua Miller of LaFayette and Robert Adams of Terre Haute; grandmother and step-grandfather, Alice and Tom Hyatt of Coxville.

He was preceded in death by grandfather, Carl Madison and grandparents David William and Fernette Hazel Hazzard.

David was a junior at East Central High School in St. Leon, Ind. He was an active member of the youth group of Sunman Community Church.

Cremation will follow services at Heritage Crematory, Portage.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 7 at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton.

Memorials may be given to the family for the support of charities to be selected.
