Charles Bradford Kenyon, of Asheville N.C., formerly of Chesterton, passed away Friday, Sept. 7, 2007 in a nursing facility.

A native of Pittsburgh, Pa., he was the son of the late Alonzo and Eleanor Griggs Kenyon.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Karla Whitlock Kenyon; three children, Christine Kenyon Lepine (husband, Greg) of Litchfield, N.H., Bradford Charles Kenyon (wife, Christine) of Dubai, UAE and Christopher Scott Kenyon (wife, JoAnna) of Chicago. Charles is also survived by ten grandchildren.

He retired as head engineer at Standard Oil Company, for which he had worked 28 years and was also a US Army veteran of WWII.

A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 10, in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian, N.C.

The family received friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
