Bill F. Ross, of Chesterton, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2007 in
Valparaiso. He was 72.
He was born April 18, 1935 at Blackwell, Okla., the son of William and Lillie
(Mercer) Ross, both of whom preceded him in death.
On Jan. 13, 1979 he married Doris Ann Blad, who survives in Chesterton.
He is also survived by 10 children, Bonnie (John) Tudor of Apex, N.C., Sharon
(Lou) Kadunce of Elwood City, Pa., Tamara (Michael) Yaro of Lexington, Ky.,
Lori (Tim) Perrin of Nappanee, Kendi (Richard) Coutant of Apex, N.C., Dale (Cathlene)
Cady of LaPorte, Juli (Sean) Ryan of Cincinnati, Ohio, Kyra Dockter of
Hobart, David (Kristin) Cady of Michigan City and Jason (Tracy) Cady of Union
Mills; 26 grandchildren, Jessica and Kristin Yaro, Jill and Melanie
Bretzinger, Terri Perrin, Zachary, Madeline and Max Coutant, Caleb McMillan,
Camden, Matthew and Nathan Cady, Charlie and Abigail Dockter, John, Kathyjo,
Tabatha, Bobbyjo and Danny Tudor, Tessa and Nickki Flynn, Dean and Lacy
Kadunce and Ashley, Keegan and Lucas Ryan and 10 great grandchildren and one
brother, Ronny Ross of Wellsville, Ohio.
He was also preceded in death by one grandson, Shane Flynn.
Bill was a retired heavy equipment operator at Bethlehem Steel after 30
years, he worked for Countryside Christian Church for four years. He loved
antique cars, NASCAR, his two cats, outdoor friends nd putting on outdoor
holiday light displays.
A memorial service, Rev. Kevin Galloway and Rev. Rick Jones officiating, will
be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 13 at Countryside Christian Church. Cremation will
take place with interment at a later date.
Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Friday at Cutler Funeral Home, 2900 Monroe
St., LaPorte.
