Arthur J. Besso, Jr., of Porter, passed away Friday, June 29, 2007 in Valparaiso. He was 75,

He was born July 16, 1931 in Cicero, Ill., the son of Arthur J. Sr. and Anna (Anderson) Besso, both of whom preceded him in death.

He is survived by a sister, Grace Krohn of Hinsdale Lake, Ill.; a nephew William; nieces Diane and Nancy and good friends Dr. Carolyn Beyer, Brenda Snearly and Martin Papke.

Arthur was the former owner of Jeweled Gazebo in Chesterton, He was a life member of the Chesterton Moose Lodge 1623.

Cremation will be at Heritage Crematory, Portage. Interment of ashes will be at a later date at McCool Cemetery in Portage.

Arrangements are under the direction of Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home.
