Arilda Klora dies at 55

Arilda T. Klora, of Beverly Shores, passed away Jan. 27, 2007 at 8:15 a.m. in her home after an illness. She was 55.

She was born Oct. 30, 1951 in Detroit, Mich., the daughter of Jouzas and Julia (Janulis) Vailokaitis.

On Sept. 1, 1973 in Chicago, she married James Klora, who survives in Beverly Shores.

Also surviving is a son, Alex Klora of Chicago, a daughter, Adria Klora of Los Angeles, Calif.; mother, Julia Vailokaitis of Beverly Shores; a sister, Angela Alp of Chicago; cousin, Algis Vailokaitis of Chicago; father-in-law, Enoch Klora of Chicago and a sister-in-law, Linda Klora of Chicago.

Arilda was a member of St. Ann of the Dunes Catholic Church. She was a Chesterton elementary and middle school teacher in the Duneland School System, also formerly taught in the Michigan City School System.

A Memorial Funeral Mass, Rev. Paul Quanz and Rev. Joe Lanzalaco officiating, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2007 at the St. Ann of the Dunes Catholic Church, 433 Golfview Rd., Beverly Shores. Cremation will take place.

Family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at St. Ann of the Dunes Catholic Church.
