Antoinette Cavallo, age 92, of Chesterton, formerly of Chicago, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2007.

She was born in Chicago on Oct. 12, 1915, the daughter of Michael and Gaetana Greco, both of whom preceded her in death.

On March 18, 1944 in Chicago she married Martin Cavallo who preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son, James (Terry) Cavallo of Chesterton; two grandchildren, Bradley and Joel Cavallo and her caregiver for the past four years, Veronika Naujokiene of Chesterton.

She was also preceded by her brother, Dr. Vincent James Greco.

Mrs. Cavallo was a member of Chesterton Women’s Club for many years and a member of Sacred Heart Church in Wanatah.

A Funeral Mass, Fr. Gerald Schweitzer officiating, will be held on Sat. Dec. 8, 2007 at 1 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 204 S. Ohio St., Wanatah. Interment will be in Chesterton Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 7, from 5 until 8 p.m. with Wake service at 5 p.m., and Saturday, Dec. 8 from 9 a.m. until noon at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton,.
