Mary Frances Van Meter, of Westville, passed away Monday, Nov. 6, 2006 at her residence. She was 46.

She was born May 8, 1960 in Hammond, the daughter of Cecil Van Meter of LaPorte and the late Geraldine (Pickel) Van Meter, who preceded her in death.

She is also survived by companion, Donnie Suffridge of Westville, a son, Nathan Suffridge of Chesterton; a daughter, Amy (Stephen) Husky of Westville; two sisters, Gloria (David) Brady of LaPorte and Kim Van Meter of Westville; two brothers, Mike Van Meter of Westville and Bobby (Sandy) Van Meter of Hammond.

Mary was a home maker. She moved to Westville 10 years ago, coming from Hammond.

A memorial service, Rev. Michael Brown officiating, will be at 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 17 at Living Grace Church, 2408 W. 78th Ave., Merrillville. Cremation at Heritage Crematory, Portage.

Memorials may be made to the family.
