Jennifer L. Harrell, of Chesterton, died Monday, Nov. 7, 2005 at Parkview Huntington Hospital, Huntington, Ind. She was 17.

She was born Oct. 31, 1988 in Kendallville, the daughter of Michael Harrell and Cathy Wright Harrell, both of whom survive in Chesterton.

She is also survived by a grandmother, Verna Harrell of Chesterton; a sister, Stephanie Harrell of Chesterton; a brother, Michael Harrell of Portage, special family, Jim Read of Chesterton; paternal aunts, Linda (Jeff) Bamey of Michigan City and Cheryl (Tom) Lane of Ky.; maternal aunts, Frances (David) Ranger of Portage; maternal uncle, Lee (Jane) Wright of Lakes of the Four Seasons.

She was preceded in death by grandparents James and Mary Wright and great uncle, Charles Wright.

A private family service, Pastor Phil Meyer officiating, was conducted today, Thursday, Nov. 10. Interment was at Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso. There was no visitation.

Memorials may be made to Vernon Manor Children’s Home, Wabash, Ind.

Arrangements were handled by Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton.
