Ferol J. Brady, of Chesterton, died Saturday, Oct. 8, 2005 at her residence. She was 61.

She was born June 9, 1944 in Valparaiso, the daughter of Wilton and Juliette (Holm) Swanson, both of whom preceded her in death.

On June 20, 1964 at St. Paul’s Church, Valparaiso, she married Bernard J. Brady, Jr., who survives in Chesterton.

She is also survived by two daughters, Michelle Whisler (fiancé Jerrad Dietrich) of Michigan City and Marcy Brady of Chesterton; grandchildren Bryan (Ashley) Talley of Valparaiso and Amber and Tyler Whisler of Michigan City; great-grandchildren, Bryan Talley Jr., Jason and Sarah Talley.

Ferol was a home maker. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and bird watching.

Funeral services, Pastor Erik Bernth officiating, will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11 at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S. 2nd St., Chesterton. Interment will be Augsburg Cemetery, Porter.

The family will receive friends Monday from 3-8 p.m. at White-Love Funeral Home.

Memorials may be given to the Porter County VNA Hospice Program.
