Mary Ann Black 72, of Valparaiso, died Monday, Dec. 13, 2004 at her home.

She was born April 3, 1932 in Ford City, Pa., the daughter of Lamberson and Katherine (Roberts) Olinger.

On March 15, 1952 in Pa., she married Blair E. Black, who preceded her in death, Sept. 21, 2003.

She is survived by two daughters, Pam (Joe) Jarnecke of Kouts and Lisa Black of Valparaiso; a son, Brian Black of Valparaiso; a grandson, Brent Jarnecke of Kouts and her poodle, Molly.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers and a granddaughter, Jennifer Jarnecke.

In respect for her wishes, there will be no visitation.

Bartholomew Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
