Valparaiso resident Joseph D. Kenaga, 67, died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2004, at the VNA Horton Hospice Center.

He was born Sept. 15, 1937, in Elkhart, Ind.

He was married to Bessie F. Michael, who in 1995 preceded him in death.

He is survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and by his loving church family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Mary Elizabeth Kenaga.

Mr. Kenaga was a self-employed land developer, the president of Cambridge Developer Corporation of Valparaiso, and a member of Fairhaven Baptist Church, where he served as head usher.

Funeral services, under the direction of White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S. Second St. in Chesterton, were held Nov. 15 at Fairhaven Baptist. He was interred at Chesterton Cemetery.
