REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

All qualified providers are invited to submit sealed proposals to the Board of School Trustees of the Portage Township Schools for the following item:

GUARANTEED ENERGY SAVINGS

CONTRACT TO PERFORM THE

IMPLEMENTATION OF ENERGY

CONSERVATION MEASURES AT

OWNER’S FACILITIES

Proposal content, format, and evaluation criteria are on file in the office of the Director of Finance at the Portage Township Schools’ Administration Building, 6240 U.S. Highway 6, Portage, Indiana 46368, and may be obtained by request. Proposals will be received at the Administration Building until 9:00 a.m., local time, Wednesday, October 13, 2010, at which time and place all proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud. All proposals received after that time will be returned unopened.

Proposals shall be in accordance with the “Request for Proposal” content and format, and shall be properly submitted and include a non-collusion affidavit. Proposals shall be accompanied by a certificate of insurance in the amounts stated in the content language.

Each proposal shall be in a sealed envelope legibly marked with the name and address of provider. The Board of School Trustees reserves the right to accept or reject any proposals and to waive any informalities therein.
