NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION

Notice is hereby given to taxpayers of the Damon Run Conservancy District ("District") that the Board of Directors of the District will meet at the Porter County Library, 103 E. Jefferson Street, Valparaiso, Indiana, at 5:30 p.m. on September 29, 2010 to conduct a public hearing and consider the following additional appropriation in excess of budget for the current year:

Proceeds from the sale of conservancy district bonds of the District in an amount not to exceed $2,000,000 to be applied on the cost of the expansion of the District, including pipe relocation and the purchase of capacity from the City of Portage, together with necessary appurtenances, related improvements and equipment and the incidental expenses in connection therewith and on account of the issuance of bonds therefor.

Taxpayers of the District appearing at the hearing shall have a right to be heard in respect

of this additional appropriation.
