NOTICE OF PUBLIC
HEARING
PROPOSED VARIANCE
Notice is hereby
given that the Board of Zoning Appeals of the County of Porter, Indiana,
will hold a public hearing on the 15th of September, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. in
the Porter County Administration Center, 155 Indiana Avenue, Suite 205,
Valparaiso, Indiana, to consider the petition of James R. & Cindra L.
McClanahan, 440 Whitestone Lane, Valparaiso, seeking Variances from the
Unified Development Ordinance, Sections 5.04 AS-01: Accessory Structure;
General, (F) Placement in front yard; and 2.12 RR District Development
Standards, Minimum Front Setback, reducing the front setback from 40 ft to
18 ft, in order to construct a 22’ x 22’ garage in the front yard of a
residence, located in a RR - Rural Residential District, on a parcel located
on the following described property:
LEGAL: Lot 51 in
High Meadows West Section “C”, as per plat thereof, recorded in Plat File
11-F-18, in the Office of the Recorder of Porter County, Indiana.
GENERAL LOCATION:
A parcel of land located at 440 Whitestone Lane, in Jackson Township, Porter
County, IN.
Written
suggestions to said proposed Variance(s) may be filed with the Executive
Director of the Porter County Plan Commission before such public hearing
and/or verbal statements relating thereto will be heard at the
above-designated time and place. A copy of the file is available for public
view at the Plan Commission office.
