NOTICE OF PUBLIC
HEARING
Be advised that,
pursuant to I.C. 13-21-14-5, the Recycling & Waste Reduction District of
Porter County by and through its Board of Directors will conduct a public
hearing at 12:00 p.m. on September 6, 2011 in Room 205 of the Porter County
Administration Building located at 155 Indiana Avenue, Valparaiso, Indiana.
The purpose of
this public hearing is to receive public comments from all interested and
affected individuals and entities concerning the District’s options and
alternatives to increase the Solid Waste User Fee county wide or any of the
other criteria or basis for establishing a fee pursuant to I.C. 13-21-14.
The Board of
Directors will then convene at 12:30 p.m. on September 6, 2011 in Room 205
of the Porter County Administration Building located at 155 Indiana Avenue,
Valparaiso, Indiana, to consider action in the form of a resolution based on
the above noted public hearing.
All interested
and/or affected individuals or entities are encouraged to plan on being in
attendance at the hearing and to bring to the Board of Directors of the
Recycling & Waste Reduction District of Porter County their questions,
comments or concerns regarding the Solid Waste User Fee in Porter County.
