NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF

ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION

Notice is hereby given the taxpayers of Center Township, Porter County, Indiana, that the proper legal officers of Center Township will, at their regular meeting place at the offices of the Center Township Trustee located at 100 East Lincolnway, Suite 204, Valparaiso, Indiana at 2:00 p.m. on the 27th day of August, 2009, will consider the following additional appropriation in excess of the budget for the current year:

RAINY DAY FUND:

Feasibility study for dry

hydrant installation $5,000

Taxpayers appearing at the meeting will have a right to be heard. The additional appropriation as finally made will be referred to the State Department of Local Government Finance. The State Department of Local Government Finance will make a written determination as to the adequacy of funds to support the appropriations made within fifteen (15) days of receipt of a certified copy of the action taken.
