NOTICE OF PUBLIC
HEARING PROPOSED ZONING AMENDMENT
Notice is hereby
given that the Plan Commission of the County of Porter, Indiana will hold a
public hearing on the 25th day of August, 2010 at 6:30 p.m., in the Porter
County Administration Center, 155 Indiana Avenue, Suite 205, Valparaiso,
Indiana to consider the petition of St. Andrews Development , LLC, et al,
c/o Todd A. Leeth, Hoeppner Wagner & Evans LLP, 103 E. Lincolnway,
Valparaiso, Indiana for a proposed amendment to the Unified Development
Ordinance to rezone a parcel of land from R-1, Single Family Residential to
OT, Office and Technology, CH, High Intensity Commercial, R-3, Two Family
Residential and R-4, Multiple Family Residential. The amendment to the
application (I) adds an omitted tract of real estate within the area sought
to be rezoned from R-1, Single Family Residential to R-3, Two Family
Residential; and (ii) adds a new applicant and additional real estate sought
to be rezoned from R-1 Single Family Residential to CH, High Intensity
Commercial. The amended parcels are located on the following described
