NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

PROPOSED USE VARIANCE

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Zoning Appeals of the County of Porter, Indiana, will hold a public hearing on the 21st of July, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. in the Porter County Administration Center, 155 Indiana Avenue, Suite 205, Valparaiso, Indiana, to consider the petition of Charles Schulte, 534 W. 250 S., Hebron, seeking a Use Variance from the Unified Development Ordinance: Section 2.11, RR District Intent and Permitted Uses, to permit the operation of a cabinet and countertop business from an accessory structure, located on the following described property:

A parcel of land in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 13, Township 34 North, Range 7 West of the Second Principal Meridian in Porter County, Indiana, bounded and described as follows: Commencing at the Northwest corner of said Southeast 1/4; thence North 90 degrees East along the North line of said Southeast 1/4, 625.96 feet to the true point of beginning, thence continuing along said North line 90 degrees East 100.0 feet, thence South 376.86 feet, thence South 74 degrees 09 minutes 44 seconds West 103.95 feet; thence North 405.23 feet to the true point of beginning.

GENERAL LOCATION: A parcel of land located at 536 W. 250 S., in Porter Township, Porter County, Indiana.

Written suggestions to said proposed Use Variance may be filed with the Executive Director of the Porter County Plan Commission before such public hearing and/or verbal statements relating thereto will be heard at the above-designated time and place. A copy of the file is available for public view at the Plan Commission office.
