NOTICE OF PUBLIC
HEARING
PROPOSED VARIANCE
Notice is hereby
given that the Board of Zoning Appeals of the County of Porter, Indiana, on
the 21st day of July, 2010, at 6:30 p.m., will hold a public hearing in the
Porter County Administrative Center, 155 Indiana Avenue, Suite 205,
Valparaiso, Indiana, to consider the petition of Douglas A & Karen A.
Prescott, 334 Long Bow Court, Valparaiso, seeking a Variance from the
Unified Development Ordinance: Section 2.12 Rural Residential Standards:
Minimum Side Setback - Primary Structure - requesting a reduction of a side
setback, from 30 ft to 12 ft, to build a 20 ft by 20 ft garage addition to
the current residence, in a RR Zoning District, located on the following
described property:
Lot 13 in
Deerfield Park Subdivision, Section “A”, as per plat thereof, recorded in
Plat File 17-F-6, in the Office of the Recorder of Porter County, Indiana.
GENERAL LOCATION:
A parcel of land located at 334 Long Bow Court, in Washington Township,
Porter County, Indiana.
Written
suggestions to said proposed Variances may be filed with the Executive
Director of the Porter County Plan Commission before such public hearing
and/or verbal statements relating thereto will be heard at the
above-designated time and place. A copy of the file is available for public
view at the Plan Commission office.
