NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Notice is hereby given the Trustee and Board of Trustees of Washington Township, Indiana, will receive sealed bids for a rescue engine at the Washington Township Volunteer Fire Department, 380 East State Road 2, Valparaiso, Indiana 46383, up to the hour of 6:00 pm CST on the 12th day of August 2010, at this time the Board of Trustees and Fire Department Officers will open the bids and read them aloud during the meeting of the Board.

Complete specifications for the rescue engine may be picked up by appointment at the Washington Township Volunteer Fire Department, 380 East State Road 2, Valparaiso, Indiana 46383. To make an appointment call Assistant Chief Dwayne Tate at (219) 405-7754.

To guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into a contract with Washington Township in accordance with the terms of his bid, a certified check or bid bond equal to Ten Percent (10%) of the bid and payable to Washington Township, Indiana must be accompanied by the bid. The right to reject any or all bids or any part thereof.
