AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 07-05 entitled, “Porter County Unified
Development Ordinance”
BE IT ORDAINED by the board of Commissioners of Porter County, Indiana,
under authority of Chapter 174, Acts of 1947, and all Acts amendatory and
supplemental, thereto, General Assembly of the State of Indiana:
SECTION 1: That the following described real estate in Liberty Township be
and the same is HEREBY REZONED
From: RR, Rural

To: A-1, General
Agriculture
A parcel of real estate being that part of the East 1/2 of the N.E. 1/4 and
the East 1/2 of the S.E. 1/4 all in Section 15, Township 36 North, Range 6
West of the 2nd P.M. in Liberty Township, Porter County, Indiana LYING North
of the Right-of-Way of the B & O Railroad and South of the Indiana East-West
Toll Road AND EXCEPTING therefrom the following described parcel of real
estate; A parcel of real estate in the East 1/2 of the S.E. 1/4 of Section
15, Township 36 North, Range 6 West of the 2nd P.M. in Liberty Township,
Porter County, Indiana described as follows: Commencing at the SE. corner of
said S.E. 1/4; thence N 0º E along the East line of said S.E. 1/4, 2387.00
feet to the Point of Beginning; thence continuing N 0º E along said East
line, 189.00 feet; thence N 90º W, 208.00 feet; thence S 0º W, 189.00 feet;
thence S 90º E, 208.00 feet to the Point of Beginning.
GENERAL LOCATION: A parcel of land located at 950 N. 100 W. in Liberty
Township, Porter County, Indiana.
SECTION 2: That the ZONE MAPS attached to and made a part of said Zoning
Ordinance be revised to indicate that above described property as being in
the A-1, General Agriculture District.
SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its approval
and adoption by the Board of Commissioners of Porter County, Indiana, this
20th day of July, 2010.
