NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF

ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS

Notice is hereby given the taxpayers of the Valparaiso Lakes Area Conservancy District, located in Center Township, Porter County, Indiana, that the Board of Directors of the Valparaiso Lakes Area Conservancy District will meet at the Valparaiso YMCA in the Board Room located at 1201 Cumberland Crossing Drive, Valparaiso, Indiana, at 6:00 p.m. on the 18th day of May, 2011, and will at that time consider the following additional appropriation from the District's cumulative improvement fund in excess of the budget for the current year:

CUMULATIVE IMPROVEMENT FUND:

Purchase and Installation of

Lift Station Pump $15,000.00

Taxpayers appearing at the meeting will have a right to be heard. The additional appropriation as finally made will be referred to the State Department of Local Government Finance. The Department will make a written determination as to the sufficiency of the fund to support the appropriation made within fifteen (15) days of receipt of a certified copy of the additional appropriation.
