NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Notice is hereby given that Duneland School Corporation, Board of School Trustees, Chesterton, IN shall receive sealed bids from experienced and eligible Bidders at the Duneland School Corporation Administration Building located at 601 West Morgan Avenue, Chesterton, IN 46304, until 1:30 PM, local time, Friday, April 23, 2010 for the purchase of:

Loose School Equipment for Liberty Elementary School Addition

Each bid proposal shall include equipment and services necessary to complete the purchase of loose equipment in strict accordance with the specifications as prepared and on file in the offices of the Duneland School Corporation.

Bids received on time shall be publicly opened and read aloud at the Administration Building located at 601 West Morgan Avenue, Chesterton, IN 46304. Bids received after such time will be returned unopened. Timely receipt of bids shall be the sole responsibility of the sender.

Specifications, bid forms and instructions to bidders are on file and available at Liberty Elementary School or the Duneland School Corporation Administration Center.

Bids shall be completely and properly executed on Form 95 with Non-Collusion Affidavit signed and sealed as required by the statutes of the State of Indiana, together with a certified check, cashier’s check, money order or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder from an acceptable surety company, as required: made payable to the Duneland School Corporation for not less than Five (5%) of the total bid price. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Bid for Liberty Elementary Equipment”. No bids shall be withdrawn after the opening of the bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled bid due date.

The Duneland School Corporation, Board of School Trustees reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding, and to be the sole judge of the merit and qualifications of products and services offered, and may accept whatever bid deemed to be in the best interest of the Corporation.
