ORDINANCE NO. 10-06

AN ORDINACE amending Ordinance No. 07-05 entitled, “PORTER COUNTY UNIFIED DEVELOPMENT ORDINANCE”

BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of Porter County, Indiana, under authority of Chapter 174, Acts of 1947, and all Acts amendatory and supplemental, thereto, General Assembly of the State of Indiana:

SECTION 1: That the following described real estate in Union Township be and the same is HEREBY REZONED

From: RR, Rural Residential

To: A-1, General Agriculture

A parcel of land in the Southwest Quarter of Section 31, Township 35 North, Range 6 West of the Second Principal Meridian, in Porter County, Indiana, more particularly described as follows: Commencing at an aluminum monument marking the Southeast corner of said Southwest Quarter; thence North 90 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds West, along the South line of said Southwest Quarter, 990.00 feet to a magnetic nail with a William J. Rensberger I.D. tag and the Point of Beginning; thence continuing North 90 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds West, along the south line of said Southwest Quarter, 1469.07 feet to a steel rail in a monument box marking the Southwest corner of said Section 31, thence North 00 degees 20 minutes 25 seconds West, along the West line of said Southwest Quarter, 1323.56 feet (calculated) (1323.58 feet per Bella Vista Subdivison Plat) to the Southwest corner of the Bella Vista Subdivision, Recorded in plat file 50-D-4, in the Office of the Recorder of Porter County, Indiana, said point also being on the North line of the South half of said Southwest Quarter; thence North 89 degrees 59 minutes 50 seconds East, along the South line of said Bella Vista Subdivision and the North line of the South half of said Southwest Quarter, 1476.93 feet to an iron rod with a William J. Rensberger I.D. cap; thence South 00 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds West, 1323.60 feet to the Point of Beginning.

Containing 44.76 acres, more or less and subject to all legal Highways and easements of record.

GENERAL LOCATION: A parcel of land located at 481 W Division Road in Union Township, Porter County, Indiana

SECTION 2: That the ZONE MAPS attached to and made a part of said Zoning Ordinance be revised to indicate that above described property as being in the A-1, General Agriculture District.

SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its approval and adoption by the Board of Commissioners of Porter County, Indiana, this 20th day of April, 2010.
