NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS

Notice is hereby given to taxpayers of the Indian Boundary Conservancy District located in Westchester Township, Porter County, Indiana, that the Board of Directors of the Indian Boundary Conservancy District will meet at their regular meeting place at the Brummitt Elementary School located at 2500 East Indian Boundary Road, Chesterton, Indiana, at 7:00 p.m. on the 9th day of March, 2010, and will at that time consider the following additional appropriation from the District’s General Fund in excess of the budget for the current year. This additional appropriation will establish an expenditure budget for the Indian Boundary Conservancy District during calendar year 2010.

General Fund

Major Budget Classifications:

Personal Services: $ 4,100.00

Supplies: $ 0

Other Services and Charges $106,900.00

Capital Outlays: $ 0

Total for General Fund:$111,000.00

Taxpayers appearing at the meeting shall have a right to be heard. The additional appropriations as finally made will be referred to the Indiana Department of Local Government Finance (DLGF). The DLGF will make a written determination as to the sufficiency of funds to support the appropriations made within fifteen (15) days of receipt of a certified copy of the action taken.
